About Us

We’ve been together for more than seven years, but our story began long before there were cameras, blogs, or social media content involved. We met in high school and knew of each other before everything truly changed during a school trip to Europe.

That experience shifted something for both of us. We were exploring unfamiliar places, seeing the world from new perspectives, and somewhere in the middle of it all, we grew closer. The trip did more than begin our relationship – it sparked a shared love of travel, exploration, and experiencing life beyond what was familiar to us. Since then, we’ve built much of our life around that feeling.

Travel has become a huge part of who we are as a couple and now as a family. We aren’t luxury-only travelers or people constantly chasing the most expensive experiences. We find just as much joy walking through a quiet town, trying local food, learning about an area’s history, or sitting somewhere beautiful and taking it all in.

Some of our favorite memories have come from the simplest moments. We’ve traveled to destinations across the United States, from the peaceful charm of Jekyll Island and the mountains of Tennessee to iconic national parks such as Yellowstone and Zion. Every trip has added something new to our story – something we continue carrying with us long after we return home.

International travel has captured our hearts in an entirely different way. Japan and South Korea, in particular, have been two of the most meaningful places we’ve experienced together. The combination of modern life, ancient history, and deeply rooted traditions left a lasting impression on us. Whether we were walking through Tokyo at night, visiting temples, trying unfamiliar foods, or simply taking time to observe the culture around us, those experiences shaped us in ways that are difficult to put into words.

As much as we love traveling, our lives aren’t always spent on the move. Much of what we share comes from everyday life – the routines, small victories, changing seasons, and ordinary moments that become meaningful when we slow down enough to appreciate them.

Fitness and wellness are also important parts of our lives, especially for Katie, but we don’t approach them from the perspective of professionals. We approach them as real people trying to stay active, build healthy habits, and find balance. Some days are productive, while others are messy. We believe sharing both sides is what makes our content honest and relatable.

The same is true for everything else we document, including skincare, cooking, daily routines, family milestones, and preparing for major changes in our lives. This space has grown into a place where we can share all of those experiences without forcing ourselves into one category. Life is never just one thing – it is a combination of everything happening around us.

Most recently, we stepped into one of the most exciting chapters of our lives by welcoming our first son. Becoming parents has been one of the most emotional, beautiful, and surreal experiences we have ever shared. Everything feels different now, but in the best possible way.

From preparing his room and washing tiny clothes to learning things we had never needed to think about before, parenthood has added an entirely new layer to our lives and the stories we tell. Our journey is no longer only about the two of us. It is about building a life for our son, creating memories he will grow up hearing about, and documenting experiences he may one day be able to look back on for himself.

That’s actually a big part of why we create what we do. A lot of what we’ve made – from our children’s book to our card game – comes from this idea of building something meaningful, not just for others, but for our own family. We want to create things that last. Things that tell stories. Things that our son can grow up with and feel connected to. Because storytelling has always been at the heart of what we do.

Whether it’s through videos, blog posts, social media, or creative projects, everything we share comes from a place of wanting to connect. Not just to an audience – but to real people. People who are going through similar stages of life, chasing similar goals, or just trying to figure things out one day at a time. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s that connection matters more than perfection.

Some of our most meaningful moments haven’t been the most polished ones. They’ve been the real ones. The ones where things didn’t go exactly as planned, but we shared them anyway. The ones where people reached out and said, “I feel that too.” That’s what keeps me showing up.

Over time, this space has grown into more than just content. It’s become a community. A place where people share advice, support each other, and celebrate both the big milestones and the small moments. And I don’t take that lightly. Whether you’ve been following along for years or you just found us today, I’m so grateful you’re here. Truly.

As we continue growing – stepping into parenthood, traveling to new places, building our life together, and chasing new dreams – I hope this space continues to feel like something you can be a part of. Not just something you watch. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about us. It’s about all of us – figuring life out, one moment at a time. And we’re really glad you’re here for the journey.
