A Simple Walkthrough of Shops, Food, and Quick Stops

If you only have a few hours to spend in Disney Springs, you can still cover a surprising amount of ground. Disney Springs is the large shopping, dining, and entertainment district at the Walt Disney World Resort, and unlike the theme parks, it is completely free to enter. Parking is also free, which makes it one of the easiest Disney experiences to fit into a tight travel schedule.

During one visit, we had roughly three hours to explore before heading back. Instead of trying to see everything, we followed a simple walking loop through several of the most popular stores and restaurants. Here is exactly what we did, step-by-step.

Parking and Entering Disney Springs

Image shows the pedestrian walkway.

Disney Springs has several large parking garages. The most commonly used are Orange GarageLime Garage, and Grapefruit Garage. All garages are free and typically have digital signs showing which levels still have available spaces.

We parked in the Grapefruit Garage. From there, we crossed the pedestrian bridge that leads directly into the heart of Disney Springs shopping. This entrance drops you right into one of the busiest retail sections of the complex, making it an efficient starting point if you only have a short visit.

The bridge itself gives a nice elevated view of the area and helps orient you before stepping into the main promenade filled with stores and restaurants.

Stop #1: Uniqlo

Our first stop after crossing the bridge was Uniqlo Disney Springs.

Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing retailer known for affordable basics and simple, well-made apparel. The Disney Springs location is large and two stories tall, carrying everything from casual clothing to seasonal collections and occasional Disney-themed collaborations.

One thing that immediately stood out was the pricing. Compared with many other stores in Disney Springs, Uniqlo often has very reasonable prices. We saw several good deals on:

  • Basic t-shirts
  • Lightweight jackets
  • Comfortable lounge clothing
  • Travel-friendly clothing items

Because Uniqlo focuses on minimalist design, a lot of their clothing works well for travel. Lightweight layers and simple pieces are easy to pack, which makes the store popular with visitors who want comfortable clothes for theme park days.

Even if you are not planning to buy anything, it is worth walking through just to see the store layout and occasional Disney graphic shirts.

Stop #2: The LEGO Store

Knight fighting Dragon outside Lego Store

Next, we walked a short distance to the LEGO Store Disney Springs.

This is one of the most recognizable locations in Disney Springs. The exterior alone is worth seeing because of the massive LEGO sculptures outside the building. You will often see giant builds like dragons, sea monsters, or Disney characters made entirely out of LEGO bricks.

Inside the store there are several sections:

  • Large LEGO display models
  • The Pick-A-Brick wall where you can fill a container with loose pieces
  • Build stations where kids can assemble small creations
  • Exclusive LEGO Disney sets

Even if you are not a big LEGO collector, the store is fun to walk through because the displays are incredibly detailed. Some of the models contain tens of thousands of bricks and represent famous Disney scenes.

This stop took about 10–15 minutes, but you could easily spend much longer here if you enjoy LEGO builds.

Stop #3: T-Rex Restaurant and Shop

Our next stop was the dinosaur-themed T-REX Restaurant.

Even if you are not planning to eat there, the gift shop and entrance area are open to browse, which makes it a quick and fun stop during a short visit.

The restaurant is designed as an immersive prehistoric environment. Inside you will find:

  • Large animatronic dinosaurs
  • Ice cave themed dining areas
  • Meteor shower light effects that periodically darken the restaurant
  • Fossil displays and themed decorations

Near the entrance is the Build-A-Dino workshop, which is similar to Build-A-Bear but for dinosaur plush toys. Guests can choose a dinosaur, stuff it, and customize it with accessories.

We spent a few minutes exploring the shop and looking at the Build-A-Dino section before continuing on.

Stop #4: Dinner at Raglan Road Irish Pub

After walking for a while we were ready for food, so we stopped at Raglan Road Irish Pub.

Raglan Road is one of the most well-known restaurants in Disney Springs. It is an authentic Irish pub that was actually built in Ireland and shipped to Florida piece by piece before being reassembled inside Disney Springs.

The atmosphere is lively and energetic. Throughout the day and evening there are live Irish musicians and professional Irish step dancers performing on the stage in the center of the restaurant.

Music and Irish Step Dancers performing inside

During our visit:

  • A live band was playing traditional Irish music
  • Irish dancers performed several high-energy routines
  • The restaurant was full but still had a fun, relaxed atmosphere

Since we were not extremely hungry, we decided to split a meal instead of ordering separate entrees. Raglan Road is known for classic Irish dishes such as:

  • Fish and chips
  • Shepherd’s pie
  • Bangers and mash
  • Irish soda bread

Even with just a shared meal, it was a great stop because the entertainment alone makes the restaurant memorable.

Stop #5: The M&M’s Store

After dinner we continued walking and stopped inside the M&M’s Store Disney Springs.

This store is a multi-level candy shop dedicated entirely to M&M’s products. The most eye-catching feature is the massive wall of colorful M&M dispensers that stretch across the store.

You can mix and match different colors and flavors into a custom bag.

Some of the unique flavors we saw included:

  • Peanut butter M&M’s
  • Caramel M&M’s
  • Pretzel M&M’s
  • Specialty seasonal flavors

We grabbed a few unique varieties that we don’t usually see in normal stores. It is a quick stop but a fun one if you like candy or want a small snack to take home.

Stop #6: Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC

One of the most unique food stops in Disney Springs is Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC.

This bakery specializes in vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergen-friendly desserts. Despite those restrictions, their desserts are known for being surprisingly good.

Display of Baked Goods

During our visit we tried:

  • decorated sugar cookie
  • banana chip & sun butter cupcake

Both desserts were flavorful and rich, and they make a great sweet stop if you are walking around Disney Springs. The bakery is small, but the display cases are filled with cookies, cupcakes, donuts, and other baked goods.

For people with dietary restrictions, this bakery is especially popular because many Disney locations have limited allergy-friendly dessert options.

Final Stop: World of Disney

Entrance of World of Disney (Stitch Entrance)

Before leaving Disney Springs we made one final stop at World of Disney.

This is the largest Disney merchandise store in the world. The store covers tens of thousands of square feet and is divided into multiple themed sections.

Inside you will find:

  • Disney apparel
  • Plush characters
  • Home décor
  • toys and collectibles
  • seasonal merchandise

Because the store is so large, it is easy to spend a long time browsing. Even on a short visit, it is worth stepping inside just to see the scale of the store and the variety of products.

Be careful below Stitch – or you might get spit on (entrance).

Is Three Hours Enough for Disney Springs?

Three hours is not enough to see everything in Disney Springs, but it is enough time to enjoy several highlights.

In a single short visit we were able to:

  • Browse multiple stores
  • explore a themed restaurant shop
  • eat dinner with live entertainment
  • try unique desserts
  • pick up candy and Disney souvenirs

Disney Springs is designed so that everything is walkable, which makes it easy to move quickly between locations.

If you are visiting Orlando and do not have time for a full theme park day, spending a few hours at Disney Springs is a great alternative. It gives you the Disney atmosphere, great food, and unique shopping without needing a park ticket.

And as this quick three-hour visit shows, even a short stop can turn into a surprisingly fun experience.
